Beschwörung   2002

Beschwörung [Incantation] was made in close collaboration with the Trio Viaggio. The musical fantasy can in principle be understood as a plot: the players conjure the beyond into the shape of a dead pipe organ. Howevere, when it does take shape, it brings with it some uninvited guests whose appearance finally overburdens the players who turn away.

The piece is played by rote, enabling the motions dramatizing the piece. The Trio Viaggio have created a choreography in collaboration with Jürgen Schrape and Joachim Heintz.
