This installation was created during the renovation of the Marcus church's organ. In this renovation, the mechanical action is being replaced by an electro-mechanical action. This leads to the loss of an interesting capacity in mechanical action which can create unstable sounds "in between", when opening the draw-stop very carefully, millimeter by millimeter. Due to the lack of air pressure surprising sounds can be heard in each single organ pipe, some noisy, some jumping, often sliding, with glissando. These sounds form the base material of the installation. They develop in different structures which derive from interactions between the single sounds. All this is generated in real-time with a live electronic program in Csound.
