to create has its place not only in art. much wider, and much closer, in the sense of daily life, is its domain and its quality. each action, each encounter, each moment can be inspected about being creative or not.

let grow, do not command, laozi says. this is the most beautiful attitude of being creative. not to force something with rolled up sleeves, but let something happen. what we do when we are creative is to prepare the space in which something can happen. it happens then by itself.

the opposed attitudes are, amongst others, to function, as execution of an already given chain of actions, to prescribe, as prevention of possibilities and deviations, to adhere, as fear of changes, and the property with all its compensatory satisfactions, rather than enjoying a procedure which has no author and no copyright, rather than deep satisfaction about a shared time of creation.

creation is not opposed to decay and death, but should always be thought, felt, experienced together with the end.
